Ιστορίες επί χάρτου. Forms and Themes of Archaeology in 19th Century Greece

In 2013, the exhibition titled " Ιστορίες επί χάρτου. Forms and Themes of Archaeology in 19th Century Greece" was inaugurated at the building of the Historical Archive of Antiquities and Restorations. The exhibition, which used unpublished archival material, focused on both the people of the Archaeological Service (archaeologists, architects, guards, curators) and their work, as well as on various aspects of archaeological repertoire such as museums and collections, written competitions, antiquities trafficking, legislation, relationship between archaeological research and infrastructure, the Archaeological Society at Athens, foreign archaeological schools, and the management of medieval and Byzantine monuments. The exhibition was complemented by a printed catalog, audiovisual material, an educational program, and a three-day scientific conference..
